Here at PetMeds, we like animals of all kinds. We dote upon our own pets, we like assisting your family pets stay delighted as well as healthy, as well as we even like wild animals! Recently, the PetMeds team had the amazing chance to take a behind-the-scenes excursion of Jungle Island, an interactive zoological park found in Miami, Florida. In the Serpentarium, Dr. Wasabi introduced us to a screen lizard that walked on a leash. He explained that the lizard had most likely been someone’s pet that had escaped, which was why the huge lizard was so friendly.

One of the highlights of the trip was the time we got to spend interacting with the lemurs in the park’s lemur nursery. We discovered that the three kinds of lemurs on Jungle Island are classified as either endangered or threatened.
