You might be wondering why I am wearing this amazing wig. It is in honor of Presidents’ Day today! This holiday was originally created to celebrate George Washington’s birthday, on account of he is the father of our country. Thanks, George! (am I allowed to call him George?)
Now this day is also a terrific day to shop all the terrific sales, and to wear your own white powdered wig. I think I look just like Thomas Jefferson in my fancy wig! I do not recommend wearing your wig to the mall, but you can wear it at home while you are watching TV.
Who else wants to join me in wearing a white wig? If you don’t have a wig, ask your mom if you can tear up a bag of cotton balls to make one of your very own !
Oopsie! Be careful, because wigs are a little bit hard to wear.
