I’ve known about the BarkWorld Expo for a while now, however sadly I was unable to go to the BarkWorld Expo last year. However, I’m wishing to modification that this year as well as plan on making a check out to Atlanta, Georgia for BarkWorld 2012! Have you ever been to the Barkworld Expo?

What’s BarkWorld all about?
Who’s Barkworld? – founded in 2009, BarkWorld Expo was created by Denise Quashie, social media Strategist for Socially Planned. After putting her dog, Frankie Beans, on Twitter she realized there was a large pet loving neighborhood using social media; however there was little education being offered at other pet expositions as well as conferences for this community. Being an award-winning event & social media producer, Denise thought it only made sense to produce a seminar for this community. With that, she created BarkWorld Expo as well as has continued to develop strong online support for the cause of sharing as well as educating pet lovers within social media.
It sounds like a lot of fun! I’ve attended BlogWorld in the past as well as I think of BarkWorld 2012 will be something similar, however with a focus on new media as well as social media education for pets.
As I discussed in the in my 2012 goal post 2 of my goals for this year are to go to to of the major petworking events of the year: blog Paws 2012 as well as BarkWorld 2012. They are certainly going to be some travelling expenses getting out to Salt Lake City, UT as well as Atlanta, GA, however I’m sure it will all be worth it.
